Kylee moved to St. Louis in 2018 after spending the greater part of her life living in various areas in Texas. While she misses Tex-Mex and lower levels of humidity in the summer, Kylee has fallen in love with St. Louis’s people, potential, and small business community. After graduating with her MBA from The University of Texas at Austin, Kylee began working at Edward Jones in the Accelerated Leadership Program and currently works as a Client Experience Strategist. Prior to moving to St. Louis, Kylee received her Bachelor’s in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin, spent some time working for the LIVESTRONG Foundation in their marketing department, and did some advocating for rural Texas at the state’s capitol. She then moved to Dallas for five years to work for YourCause, a software company focused on providing digital solutions for Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
Kylee strongly believes in solving the root of an issue, not the symptom, and supports charities that adopt that same philosophy. In an attempt to better understand the history and context of her new city, Kylee happened upon Rise and joined the YP board in 2019. She feels incredibly grateful to have found such a dedicated and intentionally curious group of people to learn from and grow with. Kylee loves anything to do with adventure, travel and the outdoors, which once led her to ride a bike from Austin, TX all the way to Anchorage, AK. She tends to be a bit of a minimalist, gets easily obsessed with a good book, and believes that if Texas had (real) mountains, it would be perfect. Her husband and two dogs are pretty cool too.
