Colleen is originally from Columbus, Ohio and moved to St. Louis to pursue a career in city planning. Coming from UNC Chapel Hill’s City and Regional Planning Master’s program, she focused on disaster recovery and hazard mitigation planning. She currently works for Lochmueller Group as a planner specializing in the intersection of economic development and transportation networks. She believes in equitable planning practices and community development and is a part of UMSL’s Creating Whole Communities Neighborhood Leadership Fellows program that focuses on advancing the priorities of communities in the St. Louis Promise Zones. In her spare time, she enjoys sampling from St. Louis’s food scene, traveling, and playing pick-up basketball.
