Missouri Workforce Housing Association
Rise is a founding member of MOWHA. The mission of the Missouri Workforce Housing Association (MOWHA) is to have a sustained effort influencing positive workforce housing policy at the federal, state, and local levels. It works with the Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC), the Affordable Housing Assistance Program (AHAP), Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Trust Fund, Supportive Housing and other housing programs for low income Missourians.
Community Builders Network of Metro St. Louis
Rise is a member of the Community Builders Network of Metro St. Louis (CBN), an association of community building nonprofits working to build vibrant neighborhoods where people of different incomes, races, and walks of life can access the opportunities and resources necessary for a good life. CBN believes that strong neighborhoods help to build a stronger and more competitive regional economy. CBN works towards these goals by:
- increasing the capacity of member organizations
- developing a more supportive community building system
- raising public awareness of the need and importance for community building
National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership
Rise is the St. Louis local partner for the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (NNIP).NNIP partners are committed to democratizing information. They concentrate on facilitating the direct practical use of data by city and community leaders, and have adopted as a primary purpose using information to build the capacities of institutions and residents in distressed urban neighborhoods.
