Landmarks Association of St. Louis held its annual Most Enhanced Awards Ceremony on Friday, June 1st, 2018 at the Wild Carrot in the Shaw Neighborhood of St. Louis. The event celebrates the outstanding work that St. Louis rehabbers and developers have been doing to rehabilitate our city’s architectural heritage.

East Fox Homes took home the award for “Most Improved”. Lutheran Development Group, with Rise as its consultant, has undertaken the substantial rehabilitation of twelve vacant multifamily buildings with forty-seven one, two and three bedroom apartments located in an otherwise stable and growing neighborhood. The buildings are in the Fox Park, St. Francis DeSales and Tower Grove East National Register historic districts.  The development has 10 one-bedroom, 31 two-bedroom, and 6 three-bedroom apartments. Three of the apartments are fully accessible.  The development meets Energy Star standards and National Association of Home Builders sustainable design guidelines for substantial rehabilitation, with particular attention on insulation, doors, and windows.

Thanks to Landmarks Association of St. Louis for this prestigious award and congratulations to all of the other worthy recipients!
