Lemay Housing Partnership Inc. (LHP), a partner of Rise, took over the beautiful River City Casino Hotel and Event Center to hold its annual Tasting for Change Fundraiser on May 20, 2016. The fundraising gala brought together over 400 individuals to support and celebrate LHP. Wine tastings, a stir fry station, a photo booth, and a silent auction were all incorporated into the event, in addition to a breathtaking performance by the Miss Jubilee band. Needless to say, Tasting for Change was a complete success, as well as a good time for all.
LHP is a non-profit community development corporation that strives to revitalize the Lemay community through home repair services, homebuyer services, and much more. To celebrate those that support them in their mission, LHP presented various awards at Tasting for Change.
Rise is proud to announce our acceptance of the Community Development Partner Award, which was presented by Lemay Housing Partnership’s Executive Director, Reginald Scott. The last year of partnership with Lemay Housing Partnership has been extremely fruitful, and Rise looks forward seeing what is next for LHP!
